Reconnect and recover

Return to the original room#

1. Open the same Discord server and channel using the account that joined the match.
2. Use the original Activity invitation. For Trivia, /trivia room reopens or rejoins the graphical room without creating a new game.
3. Let the current room state load. Check whether you are seated, watching, paused, or already at the result screen.
4. If the game is paused, the host or an authorized manager should use the available Resume control.

If a session has expired#

Reopen from Discord to obtain a fresh session rather than reusing an old browser address. A room link cannot restore lost server membership or channel access. If the app reports an access error, have an admin check those permissions first.

Find the current board#

Use the status command in the channel where the game was created. It is a way to locate the current game, not a command to create a replacement.

If the match still cannot resume#

Do not keep submitting moves or creating replacement rooms. Record the game, channel, approximate time, and message shown. Ask the host whether the match ended. If it remains stuck, contact support. Recovery depends on the saved match and game; a closed or ended match cannot be assumed resumable.

Email admin@gosignalz.com with the bot name, the step that failed, the exact error, and your Discord server ID. Include a redacted screenshot if useful. Never send passwords, bot tokens, webhook URLs, or private verification links.
