Manage languages and channels
Expand or pause your connected conversations without losing track of the original channels.
Add a language#
/translator add-languageUse the command’s selection controls to add a supported language. Review the resulting language channels and picker. Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional) are separate choices. A new language receives future messages; it does not backfill the entire conversation history.
Connect another source channel#
/translator channelsSelect the original channel with the channel option. Keep the original as the place where administrators define the conversation and its private audience. Use /translator sync to reconcile saved channels, names, roles, mirrors, and webhooks after fixing permissions.
Remove a language#
/translator remove-languageRemoving a language stops queued copies for that language and retains its channels as read-only archives. It is not a promise to erase every stored message or record. Tell affected members which language to select next.
Pause and resume#
/translator pause/translator resumePause stops delivery while work remains queued. Resume allows delivery to continue. Review /translator status for pending work and failures; pausing is not the same as deleting a conversation or clearing its history.
Repair the picker or configuration#
/translator panel/translator syncUse panel for the permanent picker and sync for reconciliation. Fix the reported role or channel permission problem before repeatedly syncing. The picker displays at most 25 choices at once; source configuration supports up to 50 original channels, subject to enabled access and Discord limits.
